Pain does not always start
where you feel it

Restriction and reduced performance can come from the nervous system, from breathing, from an old injury, or from how you move under load. The place that hurts is often just the place that gave way first, and the cause usually sits further along the chain. The job is to work out what the body is signalling, not to chase the loudest symptom. Every session starts with an assessment, and what follows is decided by what that assessment finds.

Private
clients

One to one sessions, mobile across West London. Sports therapy, cupping, EMS and bio fascia scraping, built around what the assessment finds rather than a fixed treatment list. Part hands-on work, part assessment, part conversation about what the body is doing.

Recovery Protocol
at Tramp Health

A 30 minute recovery class at Tramp Health in Mayfair, alongside sports therapy and sports massage on the floor there. Structured, repeatable, and built to fit into a training week rather than replace it.

Assisted stretching
at StretchLab

PNF and assisted stretching at StretchLab, focused on range that holds rather than range that lasts an hour. The same principles as the private work, narrowed to one tool.

On the Women's Health
panel

Josh was invited onto a Women's Health panel to talk about recovery, mobility and how much of movement is decided by the nervous system rather than the muscle.

Joshua Silvera

Josh founded NMC Sports Therapy around one idea, that movement starts with communication. He is studying sports therapy and works across three settings in London, with private clients, at Tramp Health in Mayfair, and at StretchLab.
He does not arrive with the answer already decided. Every session assesses, adapts and builds from what the last one found.

  • Sports therapy

Assessment and hands-on work across the whole movement system, including mobility, corrective exercise and strength work where the assessment points there.

  • Sports massage

Soft tissue work for recovery and maintenance, used on its own or as one part of a longer session.

  • Assisted stretching and PNF

Guided stretching that works with the nervous system rather than against it, to open range the body will actually keep.

  • Cupping

Decompression work on tissue that is not responding to direct pressure. Available in every private session and at Tramp Health.

  • EMS

Electrical muscle stimulation, used in private sessions to reach patterns that are difficult to switch on voluntarily.

  • Bio fascia scraping

Instrument assisted work on fascia, for restriction that sits in the tissue rather than the muscle.
